Garrick Hamilton is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for KDG, formerly the Koman Group. Garrick has been a member of our executive team since joining the firm in 2006 and is responsible for the coordination of all legal aspects of KDG’s projects and investments. His professional duties include structuring complex commercial development and redevelopment projects that often incorporate economic financing packages, tax increment financing, State and Federal Historic and New Market tax credits, Community Improvement and Transportation Development Districts, tax abatement and infrastructure development tax credits.

 

Garrick previously served as the President of the Missouri Growth Association, a commercial real estate political advocacy group, and was recently appointed by Missouri Governor Michael Parson to serve as a Commissioner on the Missouri Housing Development Commission. Garrick also serves as Director and Assistant Treasurer for the Central Institute for the Deaf and as Director and Treasurer of the Downtown St. Louis Community Improvement District. Prior to joining Koman, Garrick practiced law at Husch & Eppenberger, LLC, in its’ St. Louis office.

 

A lifelong Missourian, Garrick spends most of his free time supporting his kids on the pitch, on the court or on a horse, while also trying to find a moment or two to play golf with friends, hike with his dog, Clover, or enjoy an evening around a fire with his wife, Katie.
